"My name is Katie Cannon-O’Rafferty, principal of the Cannon O’Rafferty School of Irish Dance. I am a fully qualified Irish dance teacher registered with An Comhdhail .

I began dancing at aged 5 and learnt that Irish dancing was my passion. I moved to Jersey and established the dance school in 2000, with the aim of teaching children to dance to the best of their ability, and to share my passion for Irish dance.

Mrs. Mary Smith assists in the dance classes throughout the week.

In June 2014 The COR Ceili Dancing classes for adults began, find out more here.

The dance school takes part in various events througout the island including wedding, fetes, Eisteddfod and Dance World Cup.

We also travel to Scotland, England and Ireland to compete in Irish dancing competitions.
